Horticulture and Landcape Maintenance

Step ahead and learn practical skills in landscape maintenance of parks and gardens, street verges, and commercial landscapes. You will learn how to establish maintenance procedures, renovate lawns, replace plants, identify and correctly and safely treat pests and diseases, perform pruning techniques, and more.

This course includes 8 weeks of comprehensive theory and practical instruction, followed by a workplace practicum or practical project requiring 20 supervised hours over 4 weeks. This hands-on component allows you to apply your learning in real-world settings such as your workplace or other approved sites, further enhancing your skills in landscape maintenance.
